We wish Dwayne a speedy recovery and the Oilers the best of luck in their quest for the Stanley Cup.
I was shocked & disappointed when I heard what had happened to Dwayne as I wasn't able to watch the game because we were at NESC for a hockey game watching two aspiring, competitive, young hockey players (ML & JD).
During the Calder Cup series with Portland, Providence, Hartford & Hershey, I have been wearing Dwayne's away game worn jersey (we would like to believe it is the same jersey we saw him wear in his game against Martin Brochu, St.John Flames, at Harbour Station for the Cats' first 0-0 tie --- what an EXCITING game that was!) knowing that it is a very special jersey & hoping it would bring Dwayne & the Oilers some luck. I will continue to wear it when we travel to Hershey next week for game 5 hoping it will remind people what a tremendously talented goalie that Dwayne is.
Dwayne, you are in our thoughts & prayers as we know this is a difficult time for you not being able to play in the remainder of the series.
