Both Eddie and Jim played for Bridgeport for the majority of last season, until Jim was sent to Springfield. In one of his first few games he took a puck to the mouth which kept him out for the rest of the season.
Eddie played with Bridgeport until season end. He is FA now; his agent is shopping him around now. I don't know what his chances are to land a contract, as he had several PTOs last season. As far as I know, his wedding is set for early Sept.

I just heard on another board that Jim signed with Tampa Bay, so he'll probably be in Springfield.

I went to the Lightning's training camp games today, Jim scored a sweet goal on Sean Burke after he went between the D man's legs, he looked good today, he didnt seem as tired as some of the other guys out there toward the end of the session, he really looked in good shape, he was playing hard hitting guys and all, maybe he can win himself a 4th line spot???? |

We saw Jimmy in two Falcons' preseason games this past weekend. He played great & got at least 1 goal & an assist.
I must admit, it was very hard going to the Mass Mutual Ctr (which is very nice now with the recent renovations & new scoreboard) instead of the DCU, but we did see two great hockey games --- Falcons beat Providence in regulation & Hartford in OT. And before someone complains about attending another city's game(s) --- I get to visit with my son at the same time as he is going college in that area. |
