The St. Louis Blues were busy Tuesday, signing unrestricted free-agent winger Dean McAmmond, re-signing defenceman Bryce Salvador to a $4.2-million, three-year deal and announcing that forward Eric Boguniecki accepted his one-year, $501,600 qualifying offer."Dean is a player who immediately adds speed and quickness to our roster, and that was a top priority for us," Blues GM Larry Pleau said in a statement. "We also believe that he can contribute goal-scoring ability and instill veteran experience to our lineup through the strong success he has enjoyed over his NHL career."McAmmond, 32, has 327 points (135-192) in 645 career games over 12 NHL seasons, including stops in Calgary and Edmonton. He had a career-high 51 points (21-30) in 73 games with the Flames in 2001-02. |

We talking just last years guys, or former in general? Obviously, just about everyone form last years team is signed for Peoria. A few names from the past that have moved around this off season:
Trevor Baker signed with the London Racers
Jamie Thompson with the Danbury Trashers- UHL
Tyler Rennette with Kalamazoo Wings- UHL

| Dennis Wideman, Colin Hemmingway, and Ryan Ramsay are currently in Worcester working ooout at the facilities at Holy Cross. Jon DiSalvatore and Trevor Byrne accompanied with Dj King and Matt Walker should be back to Worcester for their training n the next week or so. |

| Curtis Sanford is at his summer home in Tara, Ontario. He is working out 5 days a week at Sportsmakers and his good friend Andy Playter (asst. sports therapist Ottawa Senators) is working with him as well as Brad Tiley (Milwaukee), Jeff McMillan (Hartford), Mike and Chris Minard (Columbia and Alaska), Steve Silverthorn (Colgate), Chris Neil (Ottawa Senators) and Kevin Colley (Bridgeport). These guys all play in a summer hockey league 3 days a week also. I don't know if Curtis has plans to go to work out in Worcester as he did 2x a month last summer. |
